Der EKSTRA Lautsprecher kombiniert die Technologien des renommierten Neat Ultimatum XL6 mit einer besonders eleganten, kompakten Bauweise. Dieses schlanke Design, nur 17 cm breit und 110 cm hoch, ermöglicht eine kraftvolle und fein abgestimmte Musikwiedergabe, die in kompakten Räumen einen beeindruckenden Klangraum entfaltet.

Der obere Abschnitt ist vollständig vom unteren abgedichtet und umfasst zwei isolierte Kammern, die als 2-Wege-Lautsprecher im unendlichen Schallwand-Design arbeiten. Hier sitzt ein hochpräziser 50 mm Ribbon-Hochtöner für dynamische Klangwiedergabe ohne Verzerrungen sowie ein 134 mm Bass/Mitten-Treiber, der bereits in den preisgekrönten Neat Motive- und Iota Alpha-Modellen zum Einsatz kommt. Beide Komponenten sind über eine spezielle Polyethylen-Membran vom Hauptgehäuse entkoppelt montiert, wodurch Vibrationen minimiert und eine hervorragende akustische Integration durch das sorgfältig abgestimmte Frequenzweichen-Netzwerk erreicht wird.

Der untere Bereich ist mit zwei 134 mm Bass-Treibern im Iso-barischen Design ausgestattet – ein Treiber ist zum Boden gerichtet, während der zweite direkt darüber angebracht ist. Diese Konfiguration ermöglicht eine tiefe und kontrollierte Basswiedergabe wie bei einem integrierten Subwoofer. Ein speziell abgestimmtes Low-Q-Bassreflexsystem erlaubt eine Platzierung nahe an Wänden, ohne den Klang zu beeinträchtigen.

Die schlanke Konstruktion des EKSTRA und die außergewöhnliche Leistung in der Basswiedergabe, die normalerweise großen Gehäusen vorbehalten ist, verleihen ihm eine Vielseitigkeit, die ihn für alle Arten von Musik geeignet macht.
