Neat Classic Serie Elite

Nach dem großen Erfolg der Petite Classic, die bereits 2022 eingeführt wurde, können wir nun das Standmodell, die Neat Elite Classic, vorstellen.

Neat hat sich entschieden, auch die ELITE wieder neu aufleben zu lassen, ein Modell das bis 2016 produziert wurde. Die Ur-ELITE wurde 1998 eingeführt, 2003 folgten eine SE-Version und 2008 die SX-Edition. Wie die Petite Classic behält auch die neue Version der ELITE die äußeren Abmessungen des Originalmodells bei, verfügt aber über aktualisierte Chassis und eine komplett neu gestaltete Frequenzweiche. Das neue Design wurde speziell für kleinere Hörräume entwickelt und bietet dabei eine Full-Range-Performance, ohne das Wohnzimmer zu dominieren.

Die neue Elite Classic-Version verfügt über die gleiche Bass-Mitteltoneinheit mit Neats hauseigener R3-Papiermembran, die auch in der Ultimatum-Flaggschiffserie zum Einsatz kommt. Sie wird mit dem hervorragenden AMT-Hochtöner der Petite Classic in einem kompakten Standlautsprecherformat kombiniert. Die Frequenzweiche ist eine minimalistische Schaltung mit 6 dB (LF) und 12 dB (HF) pro Oktave mit einer Übergangsfrequenz von 3,5 kHz., die hochwertige Luftspulen und Polypropylen-Kondensatoren von Jantzen verwendet. Alle Frequenzweichenkomponenten wurden speziell für den ELITE ausgewählt. So hat sich Neat verschiedene Kondensatormarken angehört, bevor Jantzenausgewählt.
Das Resultat ist eine außergewöhnliche „organische“ Qualität, die eine natürliche Präsentation ermöglicht.

Ungewöhnlich ist, dass der Lautsprecher breiter als tief ist, was bedeutet, dass die Elite optisch weniger aufdringlich erscheint als die meisten Standlautsprecher. Die ELITE Classic hat zwei Ventilationsöffnungen und ist über einer neuen Acrylbasis durch vier gefräste Abstandshalter strömungsoptimiert entkoppelt, damit der untere Port optimal arbeiten kann. Dies trägt zu einer klaren, definierten und rhythmischen Basswiedergabe bei. Zusammen mit der überragenden Hochtonleistung des Air Motion Transformer-Hochtöners vereint die ELITE alle üblichen Neat-Markenzeichen wie Klarheit, musikalisches Engagement und eine überzeugende Klangbühne in einem kompakten und eleganten Gehäuse.

Die ELITE wird in der Fabrik in Barnard Castle im Nordosten Englands von Hand zusammengebaut. Jedes Paar wird von einer Person gebaut und getestet, um eine perfekte Qualitätskontrolle von Anfang bis zum Ende zu gewährleisten. Alle Lautsprecher werden im Vergleich zu einem Referenzpaar getestet und gematcht.
