Das Atlas Mavros OCC XLR Interconnect gehört zur Referenzklasse der Atlas-Kabel und wurde entwickelt, um die maximale Leistungsfähigkeit hochwertiger HiFi- und Studio-Systeme auszuschöpfen. Es basiert auf Technologien und Fertigungsprozessen, die ursprünglich für die Top-Serien entwickelt wurden, und verfolgt konsequent das Ziel einer verlustfreien, unverfälschten Signalübertragung.

Im Zentrum steht der Einsatz von extrem hochreinem 6N OCC-Kupfer (99,99997 %), hergestellt im Ohno Continuous Cast (OCC) Verfahren. Diese Struktur ermöglicht besonders lange, nahezu unterbrechungsfreie Kristallstrukturen, wodurch das Signal einen direkten, sauberen und schnellen Übertragungsweg erhält.

Die Konstruktion ist als symmetrisches Solid-Core-Design ausgeführt und nutzt ein mehrschichtiges mikroporöses PTFE-Dielektrikum, das Verluste minimiert und eine sehr hohe Bandbreite ermöglicht. Ergänzt wird dies durch eine Folie- und OFC-Geflechtschirmung in Kombination mit dem bewährten Dual-Drain-System, welches eine 360°-Abschirmung ohne mechanische Beeinträchtigung der Schirmung sicherstellt.

Ein weiteres zentrales Merkmal ist die durchgängige Materialkonsistenz: OCC-Kupfer wird bis in die Kontaktpins der XLR-Stecker geführt, die mittels lötfreier Kaltverschweißung verbunden sind. Dadurch werden Übergänge zwischen unterschiedlichen Materialien minimiert und Signalverluste reduziert.

Klanglich liefert das Mavros XLR eine außergewöhnlich ruhige, tief gestaffelte und hochauflösende Wiedergabe. Die Kombination aus extrem niedrigen Verlusten, hoher Bandbreite und effektiver Abschirmung führt zu einer natürlichen, kontrollierten und sehr präzisen Darstellung.

Gefertigt und von Hand konfektioniert in Schottland, richtet sich das Mavros OCC XLR an anspruchsvolle Anwender, die eine kompromisslose Referenzlösung suchen.
