Das Atlas Arran USB A–B Grun ist das Spitzenmodell der Atlas USB-Kabelserie und wurde speziell für die extrem hohen Anforderungen moderner High-Resolution Audio-Systeme entwickelt. Es richtet sich an audiophile Anwender, die auch bei USB-Verbindungen keinerlei Kompromisse eingehen möchten.

USB wurde ursprünglich als universelle Schnittstelle für Daten und Strom konzipiert – nicht für anspruchsvolle Audiowiedergabe. In High-End-Systemen zeigen sich daher schnell typische Probleme wie zeitliche Ungenauigkeiten, Störeinflüsse (RFI/EMI) und digitale Artefakte. Diese äußern sich klanglich in Form von verminderter Tiefe, „Smearing“, Härte oder Körnigkeit.

Das Arran USB ist die konsequente Antwort auf diese Herausforderungen. Es wurde von Grund auf entwickelt, um sämtliche relevanten Einflussfaktoren zu minimieren und eine maximal präzise und störungsfreie Signalübertragung zu gewährleisten.

Herzstück des Kabels sind präzise abgestimmte Solid-Core OCC-Kupferleiter für Daten- und Stromübertragung. Diese bieten höchste Reinheit und minimieren Signalverluste sowie Leitfähigkeitsprobleme.

Die Verwendung eines hochwertigen PEF-Dielektrikums sorgt für eine besonders verlustarme Signalführung, während eine aufwendige Abschirmung aus Folie und OFC-Geflecht das Signal effektiv vor äußeren Störeinflüssen schützt.

Ein entscheidender Bestandteil ist das integrierte Grun Coherent Ground System, das Störrauschen gezielt auf eine separate Masse ableitet. Dadurch wird die gesamte Signalverarbeitung im System entlastet und die klangliche Performance deutlich gesteigert.

Die präzise Fertigung sowie hochwertige vergoldete Steckkontakte gewährleisten eine stabile und verlustfreie Verbindung über die gesamte Lebensdauer.

Klanglich bietet das Arran USB eine außergewöhnliche Klarheit, enorme Dynamik und eine entspannte, natürliche Wiedergabe, die USB-Audio auf ein Niveau hebt, das mit hochwertigen S/PDIF- oder Streaming-Verbindungen vergleichbar ist.

Ein Grun-Kabel sowie ein Spade-Adapter sind im Lieferumfang enthalten. Die Performance kann durch zusätzliche Grun-Komponenten weiter gesteigert werden.
