Auf der Grundlage des mehrfach preisgekrönten Dac1 Special Edition hat Lab12 die Grenzen der Klangperformance weiter verschoben und ein Gerät erschaffen, das den klanglichen Charakter von Analogsystemen mit der Präzision und Klarheit digitaler Technologie vereint.

Das Dac1 Reference verwendet eine hochentwickelte Technik und selektierte Komponenten, die auf exakte Klangtreue und musikalische Ausdruckskraft abzielen. Mit acht Multibit Philips DAC-Chips, die in einer raffinierten Parallel-Konfiguration arbeiten, sorgt es für eine außergewöhnliche Klangqualität. Diese Anordnung wird durch eine effiziente digitale Empfangsstufe unterstützt, die eine hohe Signalintegrität garantiert. Die zwei Dual-Trioden-Röhren in der Ausgangsstufe tragen zusätzlich zur natürlichen Wärme des Klangs bei und verleihen dem Sound eine Tiefe und Klarheit, die für digitale Systeme selten ist.

Mit dem Non-Oversampling-Modus bietet das Dac1 Reference eine sanftere und natürlichere Wiedergabe. Der Einsatz von sechs separaten regulierten Stromversorgungen und einem toroidalen Netztransformator gewährleistet eine stabile und saubere Stromversorgung, die Störungen minimiert und die Gesamtleistung des Systems optimiert. Durch die Implementierung von SRSG® und Fine Symmetry® wird der Klang weiter verfeinert und sorgt für eine präzise, kohärente Musikwiedergabe.

Das Dac1 Reference verbindet überragende Klangqualität mit einem klassischen visuellen Touch. Die retro Nissei VU-Meter im Analogdesign ergänzen die ästhetische Ausstrahlung dieses hochwertigen Audio-Komponenten. Die 6 mm Aluminium-Frontplatte ist in den Farben Matt Schwarz und Frozen Silver erhältlich und fügt sich nahtlos in jedes hochwertige Audio-System ein.
