Das Forest USB bietet eine herausragende Audioqualität mit hochreinen 0,5% Silberleitern und einem Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation-System, das eine besonders effiziente Ableitung von Hochfrequenzrauschen ermöglicht.

  • Semi-Solid Concentric 0.5% Silberleiter
    Die semi-soliden konzentrischen Leiter reduzieren signifikant die Verzerrungen durch Stranginteraktion und minimieren Jitter. Diese hochreinen silberplattierten Leiter sind optimal für hochfrequente Anwendungen wie USB-Audio und -Video geeignet. Da die Signale nahezu ausschließlich auf der Oberfläche des Leiters reisen, erreicht die Leistung nahezu die Qualität eines 100%-Silberkabels, jedoch zu einem Preis, der näher an dem von reinem Kupferkabeln liegt. Dies ist eine äußerst kosteneffektive Möglichkeit, hochwertige USB-Kabel herzustellen.

  • Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation
    Während eine 100%ige Schirmabdeckung leicht zu erreichen ist, erfordert die Vermeidung von Radiofrequenzinterferenzen (RFI), die die Erdreferenz des Geräts modulieren, die Noise-Dissipation-Technologie von AudioQuest. Traditionelle Schirmsysteme absorbieren und leiten Rausch- und RF-Energie oft an die Erdung des Bauteils weiter, was die kritische „Referenz“-Erdungsebene moduliert und die Signalverzerrung verursacht. Das Noise-Dissipation-System „schützt den Schutz“, indem es den Großteil der Rausch- und RF-Energie absorbiert und reflektiert, bevor sie die Erdungsebene erreicht.

  • Hard-Cell Foam Isolation
    Die Hard-Cell Foam (HCF) Isolation gewährleistet die kritische Geometrie der Signalpaare. Jedes feste Material, das sich neben einem Leiter befindet, ist tatsächlich Teil eines unvollkommenen Kreislaufs. Die Isolierung von Leitungen und Leiterplatten absorbiert Energie, wobei ein Teil dieser Energie gespeichert und dann als Verzerrung freigesetzt wird. Die Hard-Cell Foam Isolation ist vergleichbar mit dem Foamed-PE, das in unseren preiswerteren Bridges & Falls-Kabeln verwendet wird, und ist mit Stickstoff injiziert, um Lufttaschen zu erzeugen. Da Stickstoff (wie Luft) keine Energie absorbiert und daher keine Energie vom oder ins Kabel abgibt, wird die Verzerrung reduziert. Zudem ermöglicht die Steifigkeit des Materials den Leitern des Kabels, über die gesamte Länge hinweg eine stabile Beziehung zu wahren, was zu einer stabilen Impedanzcharakteristik und weiter reduzierten Verzerrungen führt.

  • Richtungsorientierte Leiter
    Alle gezogenen Metallstränge oder Leiter besitzen eine nicht-symmetrische, und daher gerichtete, Kornstruktur. AudioQuest kontrolliert die resultierende RF-Impedanzvariation, sodass Rauschen von den Stellen abgeleitet wird, an denen es Verzerrungen verursachen würde. Die richtige Richtung wird durch das Hören jeder Charge von Metallleitern in jedem AudioQuest-Kabel bestimmt. Wo anwendbar, sind Pfeile deutlich auf den Steckern markiert, um eine überlegene Klangqualität zu gewährleisten.
