Das AudioQuest Tornado/Source-Netzkabel ist speziell für Quellkomponenten konzipiert und bietet eine hochwertige Stromversorgung für eine optimale Klangqualität. Durch den Einsatz von Perfect-Surface Copper (PSC) und Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) als Leitermaterial werden transiente Intermodulationsverzerrungen verhindert, was zu einer verbesserten Transparenz und reduzierten Verzerrungen beiträgt. Die Ground-Noise-Dissipation-Technologie sorgt für eine effektive Ableitung von Erdungsstörungen und reduziert so den Einfluss von Hochfrequenzrauschen auf das System.

Das 72-V-Gleichstrom-Dielectric-Bias-System sorgt für eine gleichmäßige elektrische Polarisation der Isolierung, was zu einer verbesserten Signalübertragung führt. Außerdem verfügt das Netzkabel über einen Zero (keinen) Wellenwiderstand von 50 Hz bis 1 MHz, was für eine unverfälschte Übertragung des Signals sorgt. Die laufrichtungsgebundenen Leiter tragen zu einer optimalen Signalübertragung bei.

Das Netzkabel AudioQuest Tornado/Source eignet sich nicht für den Einsatz mit Netzstromaufbereitern, Netzstromregeneratoren, AC-Trenntrafos, AC-Batterie-Notstromgeräten, Leistungsverstärkern, Aktivsubwoofern, Aktivlautsprechern, AV-Receivern oder Vollverstärkern.
