Der NAD CI 580 V2 bietet professionellen Installateuren das ultimative BluOS™-Paket für eine perfekte Multiroom-Ansteuerung. Mit diesem flachen Gerät können vier Stereo-Zonen angesteuert werden, wobei jede Zone entweder synchronisiert oder mit separaten Musikstreams versorgt werden kann. Dank der BluOS™ Controller App haben Benutzer die volle Kontrolle über das System, und es können mehrere CI 580 V2-Geräte kombiniert werden, um beliebig viele Hörzonen zu erschaffen. Zudem ist der CI 580 V2 kompatibel mit Apple AirPlay 2.

Das BluOS™-System ermöglicht das kabellose Streaming von Musik im ganzen Haus und unterstützt unkomprimierte hochauflösende 24-Bit/192-kHz-Musikdaten. Mit BluOS™ können bis zu 64 Zonen eingebunden werden, die entweder synchron oder individuell mit verschiedenen Programmen und Lautstärken gesteuert werden können. Es bietet Zugriff auf eine Vielzahl von Musikquellen wie Streaming-Dienste, Musikbibliotheken und Internetradio. Das System unterstützt eine breite Palette von Dateiformaten, von MP3 bis hin zur MQA Studio-Master-Qualität.

Dank der Integration von Apple AirPlay 2 kann der CI 580 V2 nahtlos in ein Apple-Netzwerk eingebunden werden. Benutzer können ihr Mac, iPhone oder iPad verwenden, um das Gerät als Wiedergabegerät für Musikstreams auszuwählen. Mit aktivierter Siri-Sprachsteuerung kann man einfach "Hey Siri, spiele das aktuelle Paul McCartney-Album" sagen, und das NAD System startet sofort die Wiedergabe.

Der CI 580 V2 bietet zahlreiche Anschlussmöglichkeiten, darunter analoge Cinch-Hochpegelausgänge, digitale optische und koaxiale Ausgänge sowie einen USB-Eingang für externe Datenspeicher. Er ist zudem vorbereitet für die Rackmontage und verfügt über Anschlüsse und Schaltungen für die Wiedergabestopp-Funktion bei Feueralarm oder Haustürklingel.

Mit MQA-Unterstützung können auch Studio-Master-Qualitätsaufnahmen im 24-Bit/192-kHz-Format in vergleichsweise kleinen Datenpaketen verpackt und gestreamt werden. Der CI 580 V2 gewährleistet eine erstklassige Audioleistung mit einem Klirrfaktor von ≤0,005% und einem Geräuschspannungsabstand von 110 dB. Die Abtastfrequenz reicht von 32 bis 96 kHz und die Auflösung von 16 bis 24 Bit.
