Der NAD T778 ist ein BluOS™-fähiger 4K Ultra HD AV-Receiver, der umfangreiche Surroundsound-Optionen bietet. Mit seiner Unterstützung für HDMI-Videoumschaltung und der Fähigkeit, Surround-Soundtracks auf bis zu 7.2.4 Kanäle zu dekodieren, ist der T778 der derzeit umfangreichste und beste Receiver im NAD Portfolio.

Der T778 verfügt über moderne DSPs, die die hochauflösenden verlustfreien Surround-Formate wie Dolby® TrueHD oder DTS-Master-Audio jetzt auch mit objektbasiertem 3D-Audio wie Dolby Atmos® unterstützt. Dies ermöglicht ein besonders intensives Heimkino-Erlebnis. Die digitalen Eingänge des T778 erkennen automatisch den Surround-Modus des Quellmaterials und aktivieren die entsprechenden Decoder.

Eine weitere Besonderheit des T778 ist die effiziente verzerrungsfreie Verstärker-Technologie. Die neun Endstufen des T778 arbeiten mit der Hybrid-Digital-Technologie von NAD. Diese Verstärkerschaltung ist nicht nur durch einen außerordentlich guten Wirkungsgrad und extrem geringe Verzerrungen aus, sondern ist zudem in der Lage, bei lauten Musikimpulsen und für eine beeindruckend realistische Wiedergabe von Actionszenen sehr hohe Spitzenströme zu liefern.
