Die oberste Schicht der Matte ist so konzipiert, dass sie eine luftkissenartige Auflage bietet, die die Schwingungen des Plattentellers effektiv absorbiert und die Wiedergabequalität verbessert. Die untere Schicht stellt eine träge Verbindung zum Plattenteller her und reduziert unerwünschte Vibrationen, wodurch Verzerrungen minimiert und der Klang klarer und präziser wird.

Ein weiteres Highlight der "Techno Mat" ist die integrierte Kork-/Polymer-Schicht, die mit Stroboskopen ausgestattet ist.
