Der CALON Dual Mono Phono-Vorverstärker repräsentiert einen bedeutenden Fortschritt im Bereich der Schallplattenwiedergabe und setzt neue Maßstäbe in der Audioqualität. Mit seinem Dual-Mono-Aufbau und zwei getrennten Verstärkungsstufen erreicht der CALON eine herausragende Klarheit, Detailtreue und Dynamik. Die erste Verstärkungsstufe vor der Linearisierung bietet Wahlmöglichkeiten zwischen Standard, +10dB und +20dB, während die zweite Stufe nach der IRAA-Filterung mit 0dB, +2dB, +4dB, +6dB und +8dB einstellbar ist. Diese Anpassungsmöglichkeiten ermöglichen eine präzise Feinabstimmung und ein bisher unerreichtes Niveau der Schallplattenwiedergabe.

Ein spezifischer Niederfrequenzfilter hilft, die durch Infraschall verursachte Energieverschwendung zu reduzieren, was zu einer besseren Leistung im Headroom führt. Die granulare Impedanz- und Kapazitätssteuerung stellt sicher, dass der CALON mit nahezu jedem MM- oder MC-Tonabnehmer perfekt harmoniert, wodurch er vielseitig und anpassungsfähig wird.

Das nichtmagnetische Edelstahlgehäuse beherbergt zwei identische, vergoldete, vierlagige Leiterplatten, die eine hervorragende Dual-Mono-Audio-Performance garantieren. Diese sorgen für eine präzise Kontrolle der Erdungs- und Leistungsimpedanzen sowie einen optimierten Signal- und Erdungspfad. Der separierte Steuerkreis sorgt dafür, dass der CALON einfach zu bedienen ist und gleichzeitig eine stabile, störungsfreie Leistung liefert.

Darüber hinaus ist der CALON mit zwei Ringkerntransformatoren ausgestattet, die jeweils die L&R-Audiokarten und die Logik- und Relaiskarte mit Niederspannungswechselstrom versorgen. Diese Trennung gewährleistet eine verbesserte Signalqualität und minimiert mögliche Störungen.
