Farad Super3 Erdungskabel

Geschirmtes Erdungskabel aus verzinntem Kupfer mit vergoldeten 6-mm-Bananensteckern

Eine saubere Erdung ist in vielen HiFi-Anlagen der entscheidende Schritt zum letzten Quäntchen Klangqualität. Das Farad Earth Cable stellt genau diese Verbindung her: Es verbindet Ihr Farad Super3 Linearnetzteil – oder jedes andere Gerät mit passendem Anschlusspunkt – zuverlässig mit einer Ground Box oder einem anderen Erdungssystem.

Farad selbst formuliert es klar: Ein korrektes „earthing" bzw. „grounding" ist in manchen Systemen unverzichtbar, um das volle klangliche Potenzial auszuschöpfen. Mit dem Earth Cable lässt sich diese Verbindung fachgerecht und mit hochwertigem Material umsetzen.

Aufbau: geschirmtes, verzinntes Kupfer im Querschnitt 16 AWG

Die Konstruktion basiert auf einem geschirmten 16 AWG verzinnten Kupferdraht. Der großzügige Leiterquerschnitt sorgt für einen niedrigen Widerstand in der Erdungsverbindung – die Grundvoraussetzung dafür, dass Störströme und hochfrequente Einstreuungen wirksam abgeleitet werden können.

Die Schirmung verhindert, dass das Erdungskabel selbst als Antenne wirkt und Störungen aus dem Umfeld aufnimmt. Die Verzinnung des Kupfers schützt die Leiteroberfläche dauerhaft vor Oxidation und hält die elektrischen Eigenschaften über die gesamte Lebensdauer konstant.

Konfektionierung: M3-Ösenkabelschuh auf vergoldete Bananenstecker

Geräteseitig endet das Kabel in einem M3 Eyelet, also einem M3-Ösenkabelschuh, der sich direkt und mechanisch fest an einem entsprechenden Erdungspunkt oder Gehäuseanschluss verschrauben lässt. Auf der Gegenseite arbeitet ein vergoldeter 6-mm-Bananenstecker, wie er an gängigen Ground Boxen und Erdungssystemen zum Einsatz kommt.

Die Vergoldung der Kontaktflächen sichert einen korrosionsfreien, langzeitstabilen Übergang – ein Punkt, der bei Erdungsverbindungen besonders wichtig ist, da hier über lange Zeiträume kein Umstecken erfolgt und Oxidschichten ungestört entstehen könnten.

Zwei Konfektionierungsvarianten

Neben der Ausführung M3-Öse auf 6-mm-Bananenstecker ist das Earth Cable auch mit 6-mm-Bananenstecker auf 6-mm-Bananenstecker erhältlich. Damit lassen sich sowohl verschraubte Erdungspunkte an Geräten als auch Bananenbuchsen an Ground Boxen und Erdungsverteilern flexibel bedienen.

Praktischer Nutzen im System

Das Earth Cable ist ein gezielt eingesetztes Zubehör: Es entfaltet seinen Nutzen dort, wo eine Ground Box oder ein vergleichbares externes Erdungssystem bereits vorhanden ist oder eingeplant wird.
