Solid Long-Grain Copper (LGC) bietet einen glatteren und klareren Klang als Kabel, die reguläres OFHC (Sauerstofffreies Hochleitungs-Kupfer) verwenden. Massive Leiter verhindern die Wechselwirkung zwischen den Strängen, die eine Hauptursache für Verzerrungen darstellt. Die Oberflächenqualität ist entscheidend, da ein Leiter sowohl als Führung für die elektrischen Felder innerhalb des Leiters als auch für die magnetischen Felder außerhalb des Leiters betrachtet werden kann. LGC weist weniger Oxide im leitenden Material, weniger Verunreinigungen, weniger Korngrenzen und definitiv bessere Leistung auf.

Die Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation ermöglicht eine einfache Erreichung einer 100%igen Schirmabdeckung. Die Verhinderung von gefangenem Hochfrequenzinterferenzen (RFI), die den Bezugspunkt der Gerätemasse modulieren, erfordert das Noise-Dissipation-System von AQ. Traditionelle Schirmsysteme absorbieren und leiten Rausch- und HF-Energie an die Komponentenmasse weiter, was die kritische Bezugsmassefläche moduliert und verzerrt, was wiederum das Signal beeinflusst. Die Noise-Dissipation „schützt den Schirm“, indem sie den Großteil dieser Rausch- und HF-Energie absorbiert und reflektiert, bevor sie die mit der Masse verbundene Schicht erreicht.

Die Foamed-Polyethylene-Isolierung stellt sicher, dass jedes feste Material, das einem Leiter benachbart ist, tatsächlich Teil eines unvollkommenen Schaltkreises ist. Isolierungen und Leiterplattenmaterialien absorbieren Energie, von der ein Teil gespeichert und dann als Verzerrung freigesetzt wird. Die Asymmetrical Double-Balanced Geometry wurde speziell für unbalancierte Anwendungen entwickelt und bietet eine relativ niedrigere Impedanz auf der Erdung, was zu einem reichhaltigeren und dynamischeren Klangerlebnis führt. Während viele unbalancierte Kabeldesigns einen einzelnen Pfad für die Erdung und den Schirm verwenden, trennen die Double-Balanced-Designs diese beiden für eine sauberere und leisere Leistung.

Abgerundet wird das Kabel durch kaltgeschweißte, goldplattierte Anschlüsse. Dieses Steckerdesign ermöglicht eine Verbindung ohne Lötverbindungen, die eine häufige Quelle für Verzerrungen darstellen. Anstelle von Lötzinn wird ein Hochdruckverfahren verwendet. Da die Erdungsschalen gestanzt und nicht bearbeitet werden, kann das verwendete Metall für eine geringe Verzerrung ausgewählt werden, anstatt nach Bearbeitbarkeit.
