Technologische und materielle Verbesserungen, darunter die erstmalige Verwendung von Zinkdruckguss an der Basis des Tonabnehmers, vermeiden unerwünschte Resonanzen und verbessern die Ausdruckskraft im mittleren bis unteren Frequenzbereich. „True Mono"-Design für außergewöhnlich klaren Mono-Klang

Der AT33xMONO/I verfügt über ein „True Mono"-Dual-Moving-Coil-Design, das von vertikalen Rauschkomponenten aus der Schallplattenrille nicht beeinflusst wird und ausschließlich aus horizontalen Bewegungen elektrische Signale erzeugt. Das Ergebnis ist ein außergewöhnlich klarer Mono-Klang mit einem substanzielleren Bassbereich und reduziertem Oberflächengeräusch. Das Design ist zugleich ideal für die Mono-Wiedergabe auf einer Stereoanlage. Die konische Nacktnadel mit 0,65 mil Durchmesser folgt der Mitte der Schallplattenrille und sorgt so für zuverlässige Leistung und hervorragende Klangtreue.

Verbundkörper und hochwertige Materialien

Der Verbundkörper aus Zinkdruckguss, Aluminium und hochfestem Polymer reduziert und verteilt Resonanzen über den gesamten Körper – für eine ausgewogene, natürliche Klangwiedergabe ohne Bevorzugung bestimmter Frequenzen. PCOCC-Spulen (Pure Copper by Ohno Continuous Casting) sorgen für eine reine, gleichmäßige Signalübertragung, während ein Neodym-Magnet und ein Permendur-Joch – geformt für eine optimale monaurale Klangwiedergabe – ein starkes Magnetfeld erzeugen. Dieses maximiert die Effizienz der Stromerzeugung und führt zu einer reaktionsschnellen, hochauflösenden analogen Wiedergabe. Getragen wird die Nadel von einem Cantilever aus hochfestem Duraluminium-Rohr.

Hochwertige Verarbeitung und einfache Montage

Die dicke Vergoldung der Anschlussstifte reduziert den Kontaktwiderstand und verbessert die Klangqualität. Wie alle Modelle der AT33x-Serie verfügt auch der AT33xMONO/I über Gewindebohrungen für eine einfache Montage – es sind nur zwei Schrauben erforderlich, was besonders bei integrierten Tonarmen hilfreich ist. Jeder Tonabnehmer wird von Kunsthandwerkern in Japan von Hand gefertigt und veredelt.
