Die Cardas Nautilus Power Strip ist eine Stromleiste der Referenzklasse, bei der jede Komponente kompromisslos auf höchste Klangqualität ausgelegt ist. Fünf Schutzkontakt-Steckdosen bilden das Herzstück, deren massive Kontakte zunächst versilbert und anschließend rhodiniert wurden. Jede Steckdose verfügt über eine individuelle HF-Filterung, wie sie auch im Spitzenmodell CLEAR Beyond XL Netzkabel eingesetzt wird. Damit ist selbst bei einer Leistungsaufnahme von bis zu 3.000 Watt keinerlei Dynamikverlust zu befürchten – ein entscheidender Vorteil für anspruchsvolle High-End-Systeme.

Die interne Verdrahtung ist ebenso aufwendig: Neutral- und Phasenleiter bestehen aus 2,6 mm starkem, lackisoliertem, hochreinem Cardas-Kupferdraht, der separat zu jedem Steckplatz geführt wird. Diese Punkt-zu-Punkt-Verkabelung wird von Fachleuten als absolute Oberklasse angesehen. Auch die 2,2 mm starken Schutzleiter-Litzen bestehen aus hochreinem Cardas-Kupfer und sind sternförmig mit einem 1 kg schweren Kupferblock verbunden, der als zentraler Massepunkt fungiert.

Der IEC-Eingang stammt vom renommierten Hersteller Furutech und ist ebenfalls rhodiniert. Zusätzlich befindet sich auf der Rückseite ein Anschluss für einen 4-mm-Banana-Stecker, der wahlweise für eine externe Erdung oder für den Anschluss eines aktiven Erdungssystems genutzt werden kann.

Gefertigt wird die Nautilus Power Strip in reiner Handarbeit bei Cardas Audio. Das Gehäuse besteht aus eloxiertem Aluminium, während die massiven Endkappen aus Messing mit polierter Kupferbeschichtung gefertigt sind. Die Bodenplatte trägt eine Laserbeschriftung sowie die von Hand eingeschlagene Seriennummer. Im Lieferumfang sind einfache Gummifüße enthalten, für maximale Klangperformance empfiehlt Cardas die Kombination mit den hauseigenen Golden Cuboids.
