Cardas Audio Clear Cygnus Phono Kabel

Das CLEAR Cygnus ist der direkte Nachfolger des CLEAR Light und übernimmt damit eine besonders anspruchsvolle Rolle – schließlich war das Light in den USA das erfolgreichste Kabel der CLEAR-Serie. Mit seinem quad-axialen Aufbau aus vier Innenleitern ist es weniger komplex konstruiert als das große CLEAR, transportiert aber bereits viele von dessen klanglichen Tugenden.

Das CLEAR Cygnus Phono überzeugt durch Natürlichkeit und eine angenehm detailreiche Wiedergabe, die nie ins Helle kippt. Es bietet eine weiträumige, plastische Darstellung und setzt im Vergleich zum CLEAR Light mit einer gesteigerten holographischen Präsenz noch einen drauf.

Die vier Innenleiter bestehen aus mehrlagig gegenläufig um einen Kevlar-Kern gewickelten, lackierten Einzellitzen. Stabilisiert werden sie durch luftgefüllte PFA-Schläuche. Wie bei Cardas üblich, sind die Leiter im Goldenen Schnitt zueinander und zu den Isolatoren angeordnet. Trotz doppelter Abschirmung bleibt das CLEAR Cygnus flexibel, insbesondere bei den aus dem Kabelstrang geführten Anschlussadern. Die Phono-Version basiert auf einem einzelnen Strang des CLEAR Cygnus Interconnect mit angepasster Terminierung.

Standardmäßig ist das Kabel eingangsseitig mit geradem Cardas-DIN-Stecker aus Aluminium oder 2 × GRMO-RCA-Steckern ausgestattet. Auch ein 90°-Cardas-DIN-Stecker ist erhältlich. Sonderkonfigurationen wie ein 5-PIN-DIN mit von der Schirmung getrennter Erdleitung sind möglich. Ausgangsseitig wird es mit 2 RCA-Steckern geliefert, optional auch mit rhodinierten Cardas-XLR-Steckern.
