Sie wurde entwickelt, um die Technologien der großen Gauder-Referenzlautsprecher in ein wohnraumfreundliches Kompaktformat zu übertragen.

Trotz ihrer kompakten Abmessungen überzeugt die Arcona 40 SD mit einer außergewöhnlich erwachsenen Wiedergabe, hoher Dynamik und beeindruckender Räumlichkeit. Sie richtet sich an Musikliebhaber, die keine Standlautsprecher aufstellen können oder möchten, dabei jedoch keine Kompromisse bei Klangqualität und Musikalität eingehen wollen.

Wie alle Lautsprecher von Gauder Akustik profitiert auch die Arcona 40 SD von zahlreichen Technologien, die ursprünglich für deutlich höher positionierte Modelle entwickelt wurden.

Die aufwendige Frequenzweiche arbeitet mit einer extrem hohen Flankensteilheit von 50 dB pro Oktave. Dadurch werden die Arbeitsbereiche der einzelnen Chassis besonders präzise getrennt, was sich positiv auf Impulsverhalten, Transparenz und Belastbarkeit auswirkt.

Geschlossenes Gehäuse für präzisen Klang

Die Arcona 40 SD setzt auf ein geschlossenes Gehäusekonzept. Diese Bauweise ermöglicht eine besonders präzise Basswiedergabe sowie eine exakte räumliche Darstellung.

Das aufwendig gefertigte Gehäuse besteht aus massivem 22-mm-MDF und verfügt über die charakteristische Tropfenform der Arcona-Serie. Durch die gerundeten Gehäusekanten und die nach hinten verlaufende Form werden störende Reflexionen und Beugungseffekte minimiert.

Zusätzliche interne Verstrebungen reduzieren Gehäuseresonanzen und sorgen für eine hohe mechanische Stabilität. Dadurch entsteht eine außergewöhnlich saubere und natürliche Wiedergabe.

XPulse Tief-/Mitteltöner

Für den Mittel- und Tieftonbereich verwendet Gauder Akustik einen speziell entwickelten XPulse-Treiber.
