Die Kopfhörerverstärker von Graham Slee Solo sind bekannt für ihre hervorragende Stereoabbildung und Musikalität. Die Ultra-Linear Diamond Edition (DE) bietet Ihnen mühelose Dynamik, einen kraftvollen, aber nicht dröhnenden Klang und eine röhrenartige Geschmeidigkeit mit detaillierter Klarheit. Und es ist ein Solid-State-Kopfhörerverstärker! Der Solo Ultra-Linear Diamond Edition (ULDE) Kopfhörerverstärker ahmt die Röhrenverstärkung nach, ist jedoch ein Solid-State-Verstärker, um seine Leistung über seine gesamte Lebensdauer hinweg zu erhalten. Was genau ahmt er an Röhren nach? Er ahmt den wichtigsten Unterschied zwischen Röhren und Solid-State nach, nämlich dass Röhren einen flacheren Frequenzgang im offenen Regelkreis bieten, der sich bis in die mittleren Frequenzen erstreckt, bevor eine negative Rückkopplung angewendet wird. Das bedeutet, dass es sich um eine echte 180°-Negativrückkopplung handelt, wenn sie angewendet wird, um Verzerrungen gering zu halten, und dass sie einen vollmundigen Klang erzeugt, der bei Solid-State-Geräten leider fehlt.

Graham Slee verwendet eine firmeneigene Bandbreitenerweiterungstechnik für den Ultra-Linear Betrieb, die die äußerst begehrten Röhreneigenschaften nachbildet. Der Solo ULDE verfügt über eine komplett neu gestaltete Ausgangsstufe und eine bessere Rauschleistung als der frühere Solo UL, was bedeutet, dass er eine viel größere Bandbreite an leistungsstarken Over-Ear-Kopfhörern ansteuern kann und bei Verwendung mit In-Ear-Monitoren rauschfrei ist.
