Der Furutech Ag-16 Phono-Kabel ist speziell für Audiophile entwickelt, die höchste Ansprüche an ihre Vinyl-Wiedergabe stellen. Durch die Verwendung von silberbeschichteten α (Alpha) OCC Leitern und fortschrittlichen Fertigungstechniken sorgt dieser Kabeltyp für eine außergewöhnliche Klangqualität und maximale Transparenz, indem er Verzerrungen und Rauschen minimiert.

Die dreischichtige Abschirmung des Kabels sorgt für eine effektive Isolierung gegen RFI und EMI, die häufig die Signalqualität beeinträchtigen. Das Phono-Signal, das von der Nadel eines Plattenspielers kommt, ist extrem schwach und anfällig für Störungen. Durch die fortschrittliche vierfache Erdung und den externen Erddraht wird sichergestellt, dass das Signal nahezu unverändert bleibt und keine unnötigen Verzerrungen hinzukommen.

Die Kabelisolierung besteht aus hochwertigem, stickstoffinjektiertem Haut-Schaum-Schaum-Polyethylen, das als Dielektrikum dient und die Signalübertragung weiter optimiert. Auch der spezielle Kabelhalter, der die Kabelstränge fixiert, sorgt für eine Verbesserung der mechanischen Festigkeit und reduziert die mechanisch und elektrisch induzierten Verzerrungen.
