Das IsoLink Ultra geht den ultimativen Schritt : Die hochreinen Kupferleiter wurden durch blindes Hören ausgewählt. Der Litzendurchmesser und die Menge wurden so gewählt, dass sie die optimale Konfiguration für die Klangqualität darstellen. Große Sorgfalt wurde auf die physische Konstruktion verwendet, um die Integrität der Stromübertragung zu erhalten.

Die Kabel werden in einem Verfahren hergestellt, bei dem die einzelnen mechanischen und elektrischen Komponenten mit dem Außenmantel zusammengelegt werden. Die Formen dieser Komponenten sind jeweils kreisförmig im Querschnitt und lassen kleine Hohlräume zwischen den Komponenten im fertigen Kabel.

Die hohen Spitzenstromimpulse, die das Kabel unter typischen Betriebsbedingungen liefern muss, führen dazu, dass sich die Leiter unter Magnetostriktion relativ zueinander bewegen. Diese kleine dynamische Instabilität in der Leitergeometrie erhöht das Grundrauschen des Kabels, das durch die Stromwellenform moduliert wird, und verschlechtert die Leistung.

Das IsoLink Ultra wird während der Herstellung einem speziellen Verfahren unterzogen, um diese kleinen Hohlräume mit einem Elastomer zu füllen, um die mechanische Integrität zu maximieren und diesen Effekt zu minimieren.

Eine kohlenstoffhaltige Polymerabschirmung sorgt für eine 100%ige Querschnittsabdeckung, um die Leitungen gegen elektromagnetische Störungen abzuschirmen. Ein flexibler synthetischer Gummimantel bildet die letzte Schicht, die eine vollständige mechanische Stabilität mit sehr verlustarmen elektrischen Eigenschaften gewährleistet.

Nach sorgfältiger Prüfung wurden  rhodinierte Cardas-, Schurter- und Neutrik-Stecker ausgewählt, um die Spezifikation des IsoLink Ultra zu vervollständigen.
