Zum 40-jährigen Supra-Jubiläum wurde dieses ganz besondere Lautsprecherkabel vorgestellt, und darauf sind wir sehr stolz. Der Name ist von der römischen Ziffer XL (-10+50 =40) und dem lateinischen Wort Anno (für Jahr) abgeleitet und bedeutet soviel wie 40-jährig. Dieses Kabel wurde zusammen mit einem bekannten schwedischen Lautsprecherkonstrukteur entwickelt, der u.a. für die QLN Speakers verantwortlich ist. Das ursprüngliche Ziel war es, ein sehr hochwertiges Kabel für die Direktverdrahtung von Lautsprechern und Frequenzweichen zu schaffen. Das Ergebnis dieser Entwicklung ist nun so überragend, das wir uns entschieden haben, daraus ein richtiges Lautsprecherkabel zu machen.

Es entstand eine Leitung mit quadratischen Querschnitt bestehend aus 4 Leitern mit je 1,6qmm Querschnitt. Jeder dieser Leiter besteht aus 12 Einzelleitern aus sauerstofffreiem 5N Kupfer, die in einem engen Schlag und in paralleler Lage um einen Kunststoffträger gewunden sind. Damit werden sowohl der skin Effekt als auch die Induktivität erheblich reduziert. Durch die Verwendung des akustisch günstigen Dielektrikums PP (=Polypropylen), welches auch über viele Jahre mechanisch stabil bleibt und Korrosionseffekte unterdrückt, erreichen wir eine hohe Langzeitstabilität all dieser positiven Eigenschaften.

Qualitativ befinden wir mit dem XL ANNORUM zwischen unserem QUADRAX und unserem ultimativen SWORD.
