Das Atlas Element RCA-BNC S/PDIF R1 ist ein echtes 75-Ohm-Digital-Interconnect (S/PDIF) und die ideale Lösung, um einen CD-Transport oder Streamer mit einem DAC zu verbinden – RCA oder BNC, ganz ohne den Einsatz zusätzlicher Adapter.

Dieses High-Performance-Kabel wurde als überlegene Option für die Verbindung zwischen Hi-Res-Streamer oder CD-Transport und DAC entwickelt. Durch die konsequente Einhaltung einer echten 75-Ohm-Impedanz sorgt es besonders bei Geräten mit BNC-Anschlüssen (BNC socketry) für optimale Performance.

Dies ist keine Selbstverständlichkeit: Viele Kabel verfehlen den 75-Ohm-Standard aufgrund von Mängeln in Fertigung und Konfektionierung. Die lötfreien Kaltverschweißungs-Stecker (cold-weld) von Atlas vermeiden Unterbrechungen der Signalkontinuität sowie eine Kompression der Schirmung – beides Ursachen für Impedanzprobleme und eine beeinträchtigte Jitter-Performance.

Verfügt Ihr Gerät über BNC-Anschlüsse, bietet das Element in der Regel eine überlegene Performance gegenüber RCA-Steckern.

Der zentrale Leiter besteht aus hochreinem versilbertem Kupfer (silver-plated copper) und ist mit einem extrem verlustarmen PEF-Dielektrikum isoliert. Das Element erreicht eine nahezu 100-prozentige Unterdrückung von RFI (Radio Frequency Interference) und stellt so sicher, dass das Musiksignal frei von externen Störeinflüssen und Rauschen bleibt.

Das Element RCA-BNC ist wahlweise als RCA–BNC / BNC–RCA (adapterfreie Verbindung) sowie als BNC–BNC erhältlich.
