Während  silberbeschichtetes  Kupfer  klanglich  für  analoge  Vollbereichssignale  eine  Katastrophe ist, ist seine Leistung im digitalen Bereich herausragend. Weil sich digitale Signale ausschließlich auf  der  Oberfläche  des  Leiters  bewegen,  kommt  Silberbeschichtung  der  Leistung  eines  100-prozentigen  Silberleiters sehr nahe – und das zu einem Bruchteil der Kosten. Das Cinnamon hat einen Anteil von Silber am Leitermetall von 1,25 Prozent, was entsprechend Verzerrungen verringert und den Klang verbessert. Alle  Kabel  der  Reihe  sind  mit  AudioQuests  überragend  effektivem  Noise-Dissipation-System  (NDS)  ausgestattet.  Übliche  Kabelschirmung  absorbiert  Rauschen  und  HF-Energie  und  leitet  sie  dann  an  die  Komponentenmasse,  wobei  die  kritische  Bezugsmassefläche  moduliert  und  verzerrt  wird.  Der  Einsatz  wechselnder Lagen von metall- und carbonhaltigen Kunststoffen im NDS „schirmt den Schirm” und absorbiert und reflektiert das meiste dieser Energie, bevor sie die mit der Masse verbundene Lage erreicht. Je  höher  die  Anzahl  der  NDS-Lagen,  umso  größer  der  Schutz  vor  derartigen  Wirbelströmen  auf  der  Massefläche und umso besser der Klang, dafür wurde dem Cinnamon das Metallschicht-NDS spendiert.

    • Minimiert die schädlichen Auswirkungen elektrischer und magnetischer Wechselwirkungen zwischen den Litzen.
    • Dickere Schichten aus Silberbeschichtung werden auf die Long-Grain Copper (LGC)-Leiter aufgebracht, um die Rauschunterdrückung weiter zu verbessern.
    • Die Platzierung des hochwertigen Metalls an der Außenseite des Leiters maximiert die Gesamtleistung und bietet ein kosteneffizientes Design für digitale Kabel.

  • Noise-Dissipation-System: Metall-Schicht

    • 100%ige Schirmabdeckung ist leicht zu erreichen.
    • Verhindert, dass erfasste hochfrequente Interferenzen (RFI) die Referenzmasse des Geräts modulieren.
    • Herkömmliche Schirmsysteme absorbieren und leiten Rauschen/RF-Energie an die Komponentenmasse weiter, was die kritische "Referenz"-Masse moduliert und das Signal verzerrt.
    • Das Noise-Dissipation-System „schirmt den Schirm“, indem es den Großteil des Rauschens und der HF-Energie absorbiert und reflektiert, bevor diese die mit der Masse verbundene Schicht erreicht.

  • Isolierung: Hard-Cell Foam (HCF)

    • Gewährleistet die kritische Geometrie der Signalpaare.
    • Jegliches feste Material in der Nähe eines Leiters ist Teil eines unvollkommenen Kreislaufs. Drahtisolierungen und Leiterplattenmaterialien absorbieren Energie, die als Verzerrung freigesetzt werden kann.
    • HCF ist mit Stickstoff injiziert, um Lufttaschen zu erzeugen, was die Verzerrung reduziert, da Stickstoff keine Energie absorbiert.
    • Die Steifigkeit des Materials ermöglicht eine stabile Beziehung der Leiter entlang der gesamten Kabellänge, was eine stabile Impedanzcharakteristik erzeugt und Verzerrungen weiter minimiert.

  • Stecker: Kaltgeschweißte, vergoldete Endungen

    • Der Steckerdesign erlaubt eine Verbindung ohne Lötverbindungen, die häufig eine Quelle für Verzerrungen sind.
    • Statt Lötverbindungen kommt ein Hochdruckverfahren zum Einsatz.
