Das Blizzard verwendet die entscheidenden neuen Designmerkmale, mit denen die Modelle der Storm-Serie alle früheren AudioQuest-AC-Kabel deutlich übertreffen können:

  • ZERO-Technologie = Keine charakteristische Impedanz für unkomprimierte Stromübertragung
  • Patentierte Ground Noise Dissipation (GND) verhindert rauschinduzierte Verzerrung durch transiente Intermodulation (TIM)


Natürlich sind die traditionellen und bewährten AQ-Technologien wie das 72-V-Dielektrikum-Vorspannungssystem (BLACK-Level in Blizzard) und die Steuerung der Metallrichtung, um unter anderem HF-Rauschen abzuleiten, sehr präsent und machen ihren Job in der Wind Series.

Obwohl die Wind-Modelle die Storm-Serie nicht vollständig erreichen können, kommen sie sich bemerkenswert nahe. Wie bei den neuen Lautsprecherkabeln SLiP-XTRM und Rocket 22 sind die Leiter in den Wind-Modellen True Concentric (ein Begriff aus der Kabelindustrie, der nicht nur für AQ gilt). Dies bedeutet, dass jede Strangschicht in die entgegengesetzte Richtung von der darunter liegenden Schicht gewunden ist, was die mechanische Stabilität verbessert und den elektrischen Kontakt von Strang zu Strang verringert. Aufgrund der zusätzlichen Maschinenoperationen, die zur Herstellung eines solchen Leiters erforderlich sind, kostet es mehr - aber es lohnt sich!

Die Standardlängen von Blizzard verwenden außergewöhnlich hochwertige geformte Wechselstromsteckerverbindungen. Diese Modelle können auch in beliebiger Länge individuell bestellt werden.
