Das Atlas Hyper Achromatic X RCA S/PDIF ist ein hochwertiges Digitalkabel, das speziell für die verlustfreie Übertragung von S/PDIF-Signalen entwickelt wurde. Es ergänzt ideal die Interconnects der Hyper-Serie und eignet sich perfekt für die Verbindung zwischen Hi-Res Streamern, CD-Transporten und DACs.

Im Zentrum steht die konsequente Umsetzung einer echten 75-Ohm-Koaxialkonstruktion, die eine präzise Impedanzanpassung gewährleistet. Diese ist entscheidend für eine fehlerfreie digitale Signalübertragung, da selbst geringe Abweichungen zu Reflexionen, Jitter und Datenverlust führen können – ein Problem, das bei vielen herkömmlichen Kabeln auftritt.

Als Leitermaterial kommt versilbertes OFC-Kupfer zum Einsatz, das eine schnelle und stabile Signalübertragung unterstützt. In Kombination mit einem PEF-Dielektrikum (geschäumtes Polyethylen) entsteht eine Konstruktion mit hoher Bandbreite und exakter Signalintegrität.

Ein zentrales Merkmal ist das aus der Referenzserie übernommene Dual-Drain-System. Zwei symmetrisch geführte Drain-Leiter sorgen für eine perfekte Verbindung der Abschirmung mit dem Stecker, ohne die Struktur der Schirmung mechanisch zu belasten. Das Ergebnis ist eine konstante Impedanz, vollständige 360°-Abschirmung und maximale Störsicherheit gegenüber RFI-Einflüssen.

Die Achromatic X RCA-Stecker werden mittels lötfreier Kaltverschweißung montiert. Diese Technik verhindert Unterbrechungen im Signalfluss sowie mechanische Kompression der Abschirmung – zwei typische Ursachen für Impedanzprobleme und erhöhten Jitter.

Klanglich überzeugt das Hyper SPDIF mit einer präzisen, stabilen und detailreichen Wiedergabe, bei der Timing, Dynamik und Feinzeichnung optimal erhalten bleiben.
